CERTIFICATION & AUTHENTICITY
Confidence in Every Detail
At Oré, trust begins with clear and accurate product information.
Each product page identifies the relevant gold purity, gold colour, diamond type, diamond specifications and documentation available with that particular design.
Gold Purity and Hallmarking
Eligible Oré gold jewellery is hallmarked in accordance with applicable Bureau of Indian Standards requirements.
A BIS-hallmarked gold article may include:
-
The BIS hallmark
-
The gold purity or fineness mark
-
A unique Hallmark Unique Identification number, known as HUID
The hallmark helps customers identify the declared purity of the gold. Hallmarking availability and requirements may depend on the product, purity, weight and applicable regulations.
Please review the individual product description or contact Oré Customer Care to confirm the hallmarking details of a specific item.
Understanding Gold Purity
Gold purity may be described in karats or fineness.
Examples include:
-
9K gold: 375 fineness
-
14K gold: 585 fineness
-
18K gold: 750 fineness
-
22K gold: 916 fineness
The exact purity supplied with your jewellery will be mentioned on the product page, invoice and applicable product documentation.
Verifying the HUID
If your jewellery carries an HUID, you can verify it using the official BIS Care mobile application.
To verify:
-
Download the BIS Care app.
-
Select Verify HUID.
-
Enter the HUID marked on the jewellery.
-
Review the information displayed by BIS.
The HUID belongs to the hallmarked jewellery article and should be checked directly against the marking on the product.
Lab-Grown Diamond Identification
Selected Oré designs feature lab-grown diamonds.
Lab-grown diamonds have essentially the same chemical composition, crystal structure and optical properties as mined diamonds. They are not diamond simulants such as cubic zirconia or moissanite.
The product page will identify the diamond type included in the design.
Diamond Grading Reports
An independent diamond grading report may be provided for selected eligible diamonds or jewellery pieces.
Depending on the laboratory and product, the report may include:
-
Confirmation that the diamond is lab-grown
-
Carat weight
-
Colour grade
-
Clarity grade
-
Cut information
-
Measurements and proportions
-
Polish and symmetry
-
Growth method or treatment information
-
A unique report number
A grading report describes the diamond’s assessed characteristics. It is not a financial valuation, resale guarantee or warranty against future damage.
Jewellery With Multiple Diamonds
Jewellery containing several small diamonds may not include a separate grading report for every individual stone.
In such cases, the product may be supplied with combined specifications, including:
-
Total diamond weight
-
Approximate colour range
-
Approximate clarity range
-
Number of diamonds
-
Diamond type and shape
Always check the individual product page to understand the documentation included with your purchase.
Oré Certificate of Authenticity
Where applicable, your order may include an Oré Certificate of Authenticity containing relevant product information such as:
-
Product name
-
SKU or product code
-
Gold purity and colour
-
Approximate gold or gross weight
-
Diamond type
-

-

-

-
Purchase or invoice reference
Please keep this certificate and your original invoice safely. They may be required for future service, exchange, return or warranty requests.

Every completed purchase will be accompanied by an invoice in physical or electronic form, as applicable.
The invoice may include:
-
Customer and order details
-
Product description
-
SKU
-

Contact Oré promptly if any information appears incorrect or missing.
Important Information
Certification and documentation vary by product. A certificate should not be assumed unless it is specifically mentioned on the product page or confirmed by Oré Customer Care.
Minor weight variations may occur within reasonable manufacturing tolerances. The final product information and invoice will record the applicable specifications.
