IGI — International Gemological Institute
IGI is one of the world's largest and most recognised independent gem certification institutes. Many Oré diamonds are graded by IGI, with every report covering cut, colour, clarity and carat weight, so you know exactly what you're buying.

What Each Part of Your Diamond Certificate Means
This breakdown applies to IGI diamond reports.
Report Number
A unique identifier for your diamond. Verify it independently on the IGI website.
Shape & Cutting Style
The shape of your diamond — Round Brilliant, Oval, Emerald, and so on.
Measurements
Exact dimensions in millimetres — length × width × depth.
Carat Weight
Precise weight to two decimal places. One carat equals 0.2 grams.
Colour Grade
Position on the D–Z scale. D is colourless; G–J is near-colourless and excellent value.
Clarity Grade
From FL (flawless) to I3 (included). Inclusions are mapped in a diagram on the report.
Cut Grade
Rounds only. Excellent to Poor. Cut is the single most important factor in brilliance.
Polish & Symmetry
Surface finish and facet alignment quality. Excellent in both means maximum light return.
Origin
"Laboratory Grown" — confirming your diamond's ethical and fully traceable origin.

Where stated on the product page, the original IGI report is included at no extra cost.
Not always. Depending on the piece, your diamond will be certified by either IGI — both internationally recognised, independent grading labs. The certificate type is noted on your product page.
